These terms cover how clubs, members, parents and coaches use the Kenectic platform. By creating or joining a Kenectic environment, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where relevant, your club.
Using Kenectic
Kenectic is provided as a connected operating system for sports communities. We grant clubs and their members a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for the purpose of running and participating in club life.
- Use Kenectic respectfully and in line with your club's code of conduct.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or misuse the platform.
- Keep your account credentials secure and report anything suspicious to your club admin.
Club accounts
A club account is created and managed by the club itself. Club admins are responsible for inviting members, assigning roles, configuring modules and ensuring the club's use of Kenectic complies with local laws and the club's own policies.
Subscription fees, plan changes and module activations are agreed between the club and Kenectic during onboarding.
Member responsibilities
Members, parents and coaches are responsible for the content they post, the messages they send and the way they engage with others on the platform. Please be kind, accurate and respectful.
Behaviour that breaches the club's code of conduct, safeguarding policy or these terms may result in restricted access, escalated to the club admin.
Content & ownership
Clubs and members retain ownership of the content they create and share on Kenectic — posts, photos, fixtures, messages and more.
By using Kenectic, you grant us the limited right to host and process that content as needed to operate the service. We do not use member content for marketing without explicit permission.
Payments & subscriptions
Where a club uses paid features — subscriptions, modules or the club shop — those transactions are handled through trusted payment providers. Refunds, cancellations and disputes are managed in line with the club's own policies and our pilot agreement.
During the current pilot phase, pricing details are confirmed directly with each club and may evolve as the platform matures.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Kenectic reliable, fast and available — but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and unexpected outages happen. When they do, we communicate openly and resolve them as quickly as possible.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding sits at the heart of Kenectic. Clubs are responsible for upholding their own safeguarding policies; Kenectic provides the structural tooling — protected channels, role-based visibility and parental linking — to make safe operation easier.
Behaviour that puts a young person at risk will be treated with the highest seriousness, including suspension of access and cooperation with relevant authorities.
Liability
Kenectic is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability for matters that cannot lawfully be limited.
Future updates
Kenectic is evolving quickly during pilot and early launch. When we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify clubs and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
